William Morris Compton Pvc/ Oilcloth coated Floral Fabric By The Half Metre
Compton was originally commissioned for Mr Lawrence Hodson's Compton Hall, Wolverhampton in which William Morris was redesigning the interior in 1896. This was the last print Morris saw designed before his death that same year.
Measurements: the pvc / oilcloth fabric is 140 cm wide. The pattern repeat is 23.5cm.
Details: printed onto 100% cotton has been coated with a soft feel, clear gloss polish, wipe clean finish
The cotton was printed and pvc coated in the United Kingdom, just like all our fabric.
If you purchase more than half a metre within the same order, the fabric will be sent as one continuous piece.
