Licenced William Morris Design Eyebright Heavy Weight 100% Cotton Cloth By The Half Metre.
This Licensed William Morris Eyebright design was first produced in 1883. The fabric was printed using a technique called the Indio dye-method which Morris perfected at Merton Abbey Mills; a former textile factory in Merton, London that Morris owned.
Measurements: the 100% cotton is 152 cm (60") wide with a (1") salve edge either side. The pattern repeat is 13.5cm.
Details: the Heavy weight fabric has a woven texture which comes through the design, and is a stronger fabric than the normal weight cotton we also sell.
The 100% cotton cloth has been printed in the United Kingdom.
If you purchase more than half a metre within the same order, the fabric will be sent as one continuous piece.
As with all natural fibres, cotton will contract so slight shrinkage should be allowed for.
Care for your item: the fabric is machine washable at 40 degrees.
