William Morris Pimpernel Cream Cotton Floral Fabric By The Half Metre
This licensed William Morris design was first produced in 1876. The design is named Pimpernel after the small pimpernel flowers within the design rather than the large poppies that dominate it. Pimpernel can actually be seen in the Billiard Room at Wightwick Manor which is incredibly beautiful. This design has a grey background and cream poppies, we also have the design available in Pimpernel Green.
The cotton was printed onto 100% cotton in the United Kingdom.
Measurements: William Morris Pimpernel has been printed onto 152 cm (60") wide cotton with a 2.5cm (1") salve edge on either side. The pattern repeat is 12cm.
As with all natural fibres, cotton will contract so slight shrinkage should be allowed for.
If you order more than half a metre within the same order, the fabric will be sent in one continuous piece.
Care for your item: the fabric is machine washable at 40 degrees.
