William Morris Blue Strawberry Thief 100% Cotton Floral Fabric By The Half Metre
This licensed William Morris design was first produced in 1883.
The design was a triumph for Morris as it marked the perfecting of the indigo-discharge technique of printing at Merton Abbey.
The design was inspired by William Morris's observation of the thrushes under the strawberry nets at his home, Kelmscott Manor.
The cotton drill is the heaviest fabric cotton we print on and the 100% cotton cloth, just like all our designs, is printed in the United Kingdom.
Measurements: the cotton fabric is 152 cm (60") including a 2.5cm each side salve edge wide. The pattern repeat is 23.5cm.
Care for your item: the fabric is machine washable at 30 degrees fold the fabric face to face prior to washing.
As with all cotton fabric please allow for slight shrinkage.
