This exclusive design, Charlotte Rose is an original fabric from our late 1800 - early 1900 archive and faithfully restored to be a print worthy of a grand French Château. Our cotton fabric is sold by the half metre. The design has been printed onto a 100% heavyweight cotton cloth with a visible weave throughout the fabric - as it was in the original design.
As with all of our fabric, Charlotte Rose is printed here in the United Kingdom.
The fabric is 152 cm wide with a 2.5cm salve edge at either side. The pattern repeat is 13cm.
By purchasing more than half a metre in one transaction, it will be sent as one continuous length.
The fabric is machine washable at 40 degrees.
As with all natural fibres, cotton will contract so slight shrinkage should be allowed for when planning your project.
More about our fabrics:
What makes our fabric different?
- We use very high quality cotton fabric (with free samples available on request).
- Our printer is a long-established British printer and is one of the best printers in the world.
- We do not sell seconds.
Our Fabric Is Less Expensive - How Do We Do It?
Our designs come either from our own historic archive or they are independently-licensed William Morris designs. We commission the prints after deciding on the sizing of the design and which colours are needed. We originate the printing screens and commission printing onto our high-quality 100% cotton fabric.
