William Morris Willow Bough Blue 100% Cotton Heavy Weight Fabric By The Half Metre
This Licensed William Morris Design was first produced in 1887. Willow Bough was influenced by the trees Morris would see on his walks in the country from his home, Kelmscott Manor. His daughter May wrote of the design, "We were walking one day by our little stream that runs into the Thames and my father pointed out the detail and soon after the paper was done." We also have Willow Bough in a green and cream colour option.
The 100% cotton is printed in the United Kingdom. We licence the William Morris design and print it both size and colour it to our own specification to best suit our products.
Measurements: the cotton fabric is 152 cm wide including a 2.5cm each side salve edge. The pattern repeat is 29cm.
If you purchase more than half a metre within the same order, the fabric will be sent as one continuous piece.
As with all natural fibres, cotton will contract so slight shrinkage should be allowed for.
Care for your item: the fabric is machine washable at 30 degrees.
