Pannal  fits most people’s idea of a perfect village. It has all the necessary ingredients – country life with good rail and road links and reliable public transport and other essential services (so that we can send you our William Morris and Archive designs without delay!)

Pannal has 2 churches, a highly-regarded primary school, a post office and well-stocked village store with its own deli counter. That’s not all, there’s also a “real ale” pub which serves food and puts on regular jazz nights, a doctor and a dentist and a hairdressing salon. There are 2 petrol stations nearby on the main road which leads to Pannal and quite a few other newer businesses.
