This Licensed William Morris Design was first produced in May 1882. It is also known sometimes as Brer Rabbit and was inspired and named after a character in Uncle Remus, His song and Sayings by J.C.Harris (1881) which William Morris would read to his daughters Jenny and May. Brother Rabbit was first produced at Merton Abbey using the Indigo discharge method of printing.
The bag has a clear gloss polish pvc coating which is wipe clean - just like all our products, our tote bags are printed, manufactured and pvc coated in the United Kingdom.
Measurements: The tote bag has two long handles which measure 60.5cm. The bag has a zipped inner pocket which measures 22.5cm wide by 21cm deep, a nice large pocket for your purse.
The bag is 34cm high, the top of the bag is 49cm wide. The stiffened base is 32cm long by 14.5cm wide
