This Licensed William Morris Design was first produced in May 1882. It is also known sometimes as Brer Rabbit and was inspired and named after a character in Uncle Remus, His song and Sayings by J.C.Harris (1881) which William Morris would read to his daughters Jenny and May.

Just like all our products, our William Morris Brother Rabbit napkins have been printed and manufactured in the United Kingdom.

The napkins are 100% Cotton and sold in packs of 4.

Measurements: The napkins are 40.5cm by 40.5 cm and have a hemmed edge.

The design was first produced at Merton Abbey using the Indigo discharge method of printing.

The Birds and rabbits within the design were drawn Morris' close friend and colleague, Philip Webb.
