William Morris Willow Bough 4 Quilted Cotton Floral Placemats

This Licensed William Morris Design was first produced in 1887. Willow Bough was influenced by the trees Morris would see on his walks in the country from his home, Kelmscott Manor. His daughter May wrote of the design, "We were walking one day by our little stream that runs into the Thames and my father pointed out the detail and soon after the paper was done." We also have Willow Bough in blue and white. 

Measurements: the placemats are 28.5 cm (11 1/4") high by 39.5cm (15 1/2") wide.

Details: The 100% cotton cloth has been quilted either side of 10oz needlepoly wadding in a diamond stitch, the edge is bound in matching binding.

The cotton was printed, quilted and the place mats manufactured in the United Kingdom, just like all our items.

Care for your item: the placemats are machine washable at 40 degrees.
