Many of the large houses along Cold Bath Road were originally built to accommodate visitors to Harrogate Spa. The Adelphi is one of several buildings along Cold Bath Road that was originally a hotel. It has been converted into upmarket apartments.
The Georgian bathing house was knocked down in the 1970s and there is a lovely area with trees and flowers on this section of the road.
