Just next door to the Adel Church of St John the Baptist is the Adel Memorial Hall, which was built in 1928 as a tribute to the local men who served in the Great War.
It was a very cold spring evening and the trees are still bare of leaves but the cricket season began on the 9th April and so the local team were clearly keen to get started. It was lovely to see the men playing cricket.
