Here in the UK we often ask what is Thanksgiving as we hear about the Macy’s parade and everyone in the USA having turkey dinners.
Thanksgiving is always on the forth Thursday in November. The holiday commemorates a harvest festival held by the Pilgrim Fathers in 1621. The previous year the harvest had failed and half of the Pilgrims had starved to death.
We thoughly enjoyed our visit to Plymouth Massachusetts. Happy Thanksgiving.
