As you may know, we have an exclusive retailer in Japan; Oxford Time, who attended Mitsubishi British Week, and we wanted to show you a few snaps they managed to take from the event!
Our pvc tote bags have long been a favourite with our customers; with sizes ranging from the small bags which you can see at the top of the photo, to the medium which are shown at the bottom, we also have long handled and zip top bags, so whatever you want to use the bag for there is the perfect size for you! The small ones are great to throw in your handbag so you can take it out if you find yourself doing some shopping, and we find the larger sizes are perfect for keeping in your car boot for those days you arrive at the supermarket and don’t want to pay 5p per carrier bag that will rip on the way out; the zip top tote in particular fits lots of groceries in and is much more reliable than the flimsy bags!
We loved looking through the photos from the show; looking at what other countries perceive to be a truly British product. Additional to the fact all of our products are printed and manufactured in the UK, William Morris is a British icon in his own right; the fact that so many years on, his prints have never been out of fashion and still remain popular with all ages, shows what a truly legendary designer he was. His prints today are even seen on catwalks as shown by Marc Jacobs with his Morris range.
We’re not quite sure what was going on here with the cats!
It’s so funny seeing our fabric with Japanese descriptions! Proving quite popular with the Japanese, we think it’s because of how authentically British our business is. Thank you to our friends at Oxford Time for sending us these photos; every time they come over to visit the UK we make sure we have a British experience over here; often resulting in a lovely afternoon tea at Betty’s- any excuse ey!
