This is just a glimpse of a rare original Victorian pharmacy that is still in use today in Buxton. The building is listed (inside and out) and the business has been in operation since 1875 (when Victoria was Queen and William Morris was a young man!)
This is just one side of the facade and you may be able to just pick out the stained glass that encloses the window display and the ornate carved wooden shelves inside the shop. The shop has other original fittings such as curved glazed counters and glazed cabinets and is very special.
