I took my small Compton bag to Pacific Grove, Monterey County, California.
I had wanted to see Pacific Grove as is known for it’s Victorian Homes and wonderful main street. Per capita, there are more Victorian houses here than anywhere else in America, some of these, have been turned into beautiful bed and breakfast inns. The town was found by a group of Methodists in 1875, and built and modelled after a New Jersey town called Ocean Grove.
It is a lovely town to walk round and admire the views and architecture.
I absolutely love visiting antique shops and wanted to view the American antiques, although I was surprised to find a lot of lovely English china!
My small Compton came in handy to carry my shopping!
The beautiful Victorian homes in Pacific Grove, California.
I hope to return one day and stay in one of the lovely Victorian Bed and Breakfast houses we saw there.
