This Licensed William Morris Design was first produced in May 1882. It is also known sometimes as Brer Rabbit and was inspired and named after a character in Uncle Remus, His song and Sayings by J.C.Harris (1881) which William Morris would read to his daughters Jenny and May.
The design was first produced at Merton Abbey using the Indigo discharge method of printing.
The Birds and rabbits within the design were drawn Morris' close friend and colleague, Philip Webb.
A must for cooking and baking, you can wipe the apron clean to keep it looking fresh.
The apron is 100% cotton which has been coated in a soft feel clear gloss pvc coating. The pvc apron is wipe clean.
This Pvc / Oilcloth apron is 54.5cm wide by 75cm Long. Each cream cotton waist tie is 50.4cm long.
As with all our products, our blue Brother Rabbit pvc apron has been printed, pvc coated and manufactured in the United Kingdom. The pvc apron is wipe clean - so you can wipe it clean after any baking and cooking splashes! Complete the set: other items are available in blue Brother Rabbit including tea towels, tablecloths and napkins.
