A Georgian Dales-style stone built pub is situated at the junction of where Cold Bath Road joins Otley Road. The footprint of the building is L-shaped and the side of the building which runs along the Otley Road is more ornate and has a steeped Dutch gable. It is a very historic pub and was known until recently as The New Inn.
Cold Bath Road runs downhill from this junction to the centre of the town. Many of the buildings in this high section of the road have giant stone gate posts, many of which are built in the shape of letter boxes.
