Today is Cake Day! If you needed an excuse to have a slice of delicious cake… we’ve just given you one! Celebrated all around the world, cake day is meant to be a day of respect for one of the most loved, and oldest desserts around!
Cake is believed to have first been made in Ancient Greece, until they were developed by the Romans into sweet and creamy treats!
Cupcakes were given their name because ingredients for them were originally measured by the cupful.
We tried our hand at baking a cake to celebrate the day!!
Since it is the festive season, we used our Reindeer and Snowflake apron whilst baking, and set our table with the matching tablecloth, then used the napkins to really complete the look! We hope our guests enjoy our table setting whilst we munch on some lovely cake!
