One of the most famous landmarks of North Leeds is Oakwood Clock
The clock was originally made as the centre piece for the new Leeds market.
The clock was made by Potts & Sons in 1904
Alterations made to the market building led to the clock being situated at Oakwood in 1912
In recent times the clock had become in need of repair and in 2012 a fund was started to restore the clock to it’s former Victorian glory.
