This Licensed William Morris Design was first produced in May 1882. It is also known sometimes as Brer Rabbit and was inspired and named after a character in Uncle Remus, His song and Sayings by J.C.Harris (1881) which William Morris would read to his daughters Jenny and May. First produced at Merton Abbey, it was originally printed using the Indigo Dye technique. Philip Webb drew the birds and rabbits within the design.
The Apron is wipe clean pvc coated cotton cloth which has been printed , pvc coated and manufactured in the United Kingdom, just like all our items.
The 100% cotton has been printed then a soft feel wipe clean pvc coating applied.
This Pvc / Oilcloth apron is 54.5 cm Wide by 75 cm Long and have cotton cream ties while each waist tie is 50.4 cm long.
As with all our products, our Brother Rabbit pvc apron has been printed, pvc coated and manufactured in the United Kingdom. The pvc apron is wipe clean - so you can wipe it clean after any baking and cooking splashes! Complete the set: other items are available in Brother Rabbit including tea towels, tablecloths and napkins.
