This licensed William Morris design was first produced in 1876. The design is named Pimpernel after the small pimpernel flowers within the design rather than the large poppies that dominate it. Pimpernel can actually be seen in the Billiard Room at Wightwick Manor which is incredibly beautiful. This design has a grey background and cream poppies, we also have the design available in Pimpernel Green.
Our placemats are sold in packs of 4, and are a beautiful and practical way to not only add William Morris florals into your home, but set the table for both everyday and special occasion use.
Our Pimpernel Cream placemats are 28.5 cm high by 39.5cm wide.
Our placemats are machine washable at 30 degrees, please hang to air dry.
The 100% cotton cloth has been quilted either side of 10oz needlepoly wadding in a diamond stitch, the edge is bound in matching binding. As with all our items, the cotton was printed, quilted and the placemats manufactured in the United Kingdom. All our William Morris designs are licensed designs, printed both size and colour wise to our own specification to best suit our products.
