“Just take it one stitch at a time”

16th June 2017

We’re loving this blog series we’ve created recently! Seeing what everyone’s creating using our fabric is so much fun and gives us so much inspiration for our own homes. Some of our fabric this month has been used in various ways – with four weights of fabric- cotton, drill, heavy weight and pvc fabric, there’s really no limit on what you can create.

If you can’t get a blind to fit that awkward sized window on the landing, or no lampshade cover holds the right kind of floral pattern or that old chair really would look better if it were recovered and brought back to life; we’ve got you sorted. We’ve now got so many designs under our belt, with one more on it’s way very soon(!) that we’re more than sure there’s something for everyone, especially as now we do have more colours than ever too – make sure to look at our whole range of fabrics here.

Tamsin created these beautiful cushions, in her email she said,

“This was the first time I had used your fabrics and found the quality to be good ( even after washing!) Anyway, I couldn’t resist having a quick play with them for a cushion. The blue and white combination is a particular favourite of mine –  and I crocheted some motifs in a fine denim thread to add some texture.

I am planning to buy some more the blue Willow Bough print to make some curtains for my vintage caravan…” We definately can’t wait to see more of her projects- the blues work really well all together in this cushion-don’t be afraid to play around with various designs

Vintage Style Me

Vintage Style Me produces the most beautiful dresses from our fabrics and we love to see what they produce! The Green Willow Bough is currently our favourite, though this changes every time we stalk their Instagram and see a new dress! Take a look at their shop and see what they’ve made from our fabrics- let us know which is your favourite!

Suzanne has a fab eye for looking at antique furniture and giving it a new lease of life through re-covering it with fabric or giving it a lick of paint. This Victorian chair was recovered with our Golden Lily fabric which really compliments the wood! We’ve just spied on her Instagram she’s just bought a ‘bargain £5 set of four dining chairs’ which she plans to paint and cover with our Brother Rabbit fabric – we can’t wait to see! It shows the fact you don’t need to spend a ridiculous amount of money to have a stunning set of chairs!

Have you used any of our fabrics in a project? Let us know by emailing us at [email protected] and we will send you a 20% voucher off your next order!
