This Licensed William Morris Eyebright design was first produced in 1883. Eyebright was originally designed by Morris as a lining fabric, of course, it's far too beautiful to be hidden in a lining! The fabric was printed using a technique called the Indio dye-method which Morris perfected at Merton Abbey Mills; a former textile factory in Merton, London that Morris owned.
A must for cooking and baking, you can wipe the apron clean to keep it looking fresh.
The pvc apron was printed, pvc coated and manufactured in the United Kingdom, just like all our products.
This Eyebright pvc apron measures 75 cm (29 1/2") long and 52 cm (21 1/2") wide. The ties are white cotton and each waist tie is 50.4 cm long.
As with all our products, our Eyebright pvc apron has been printed, pvc coated and manufactured in the United Kingdom. The pvc apron is wipe clean - so you can wipe it clean after any baking and cooking splashes! Complete the set: other items are available in Eyebright including tea towels, tablecloths and napkins.

Did you know that in Japan where our projects are sold, our tea towels are used not only for being functional but for decoration - we love that they’re framed, or laid on the table as a centrepiece to be admired or hung as a draped item to bring some nature indoors 🌿 we thought we’d do the same by using the tea towel as a centrepiece for a simple cup of tea and very delicious piece of cake! 🍰
