This licensed William Morris design was first produced in 1876. The design is named Pimpernel after the small pimpernel flowers within the design rather than the large poppies that dominate it. Pimpernel can actually be seen in the Billiard Room at Wightwick Manor which is incredibly beautiful.
This design has a grey background and cream poppies, we also have the design available in Pimpernel Green.
The Apron is wipe clean pvc coated cotton cloth which has been printed , pvc coated and manufactured in the United Kingdom, just like all our items. The 100% cotton has been printed then a soft feel wipe clean pvc coating applied.
This PVC Apron is 61cm Wide by 76cm long and has natural cotton ties. Each waist tie is 53cm long.
As with all our products, our Pimpernel Cream pvc apron has been printed, pvc coated and manufactured in the United Kingdom. The pvc apron is wipe clean - so you can wipe it clean after any baking and cooking splashes! Complete the set: other items are available in Pimpernel Cream including tea towels, tablecloths and napkins.

Did you know that in Japan where our projects are sold, our tea towels are used not only for being functional but for decoration - we love that they’re framed, or laid on the table as a centrepiece to be admired or hung as a draped item to bring some nature indoors 🌿 we thought we’d do the same by using the tea towel as a centrepiece for a simple cup of tea and very delicious piece of cake! 🍰
