Llandaff’s architect John Pollard Seddon worked with some of the most important figures in the 19th and 20th British Arts and Crafts Movement. John Pollard Seddon’s brother was the PreRaphaelite painter Thomas Seddon. Thomas Seddon introduced William Holman Hunt, William Morris, Ford Madox Brown, Edward Burne Jones, Val Prinsep and Dante Gabriel Rossetti to his brother, John Pollard Seddon, who worked with and commissioned work from many of them.
In 1873 CFA Voysey became an articled pupil of JP Seddon
