This Licensed William Morris Eyebright design was first produced in 1883. Eyebright was originally designed by Morris as a lining fabric, of course, it's far too beautiful to be hidden in a lining! The fabric was printed using a technique called the Indio dye-method which Morris perfected at Merton Abbey Mills; a former textile factory in Merton, London that Morris owned.
The cotton is printed and the tea towels manufactured in the United Kingdom, just like all our items. Our cotton tea towel is the perfect kitchen accessory, both stylish and practical!
The tea towel measures 45.5 cm wide by 71cm long
Our tea towel is machine washable at 30 degrees. As with all printed fabrics, please wash face to face (fold the tea towel and wash pattern to pattern.)
