William Morris Compton 37mm Flat Bias Binding By The Metre
Compton was originally commissioned for Mr Lawrence Hodson's Compton Hall, Wolverhampton in which William Morris was redesigning the interior in 1896. This was the last print Morris saw designed before his death that same year.
Printed onto 100% cotton cloth and then professionally made into bias binding in the United Kingdom.
Measurements: the bias binding is 37mm (1 1/2") wide. As with all bias binding there is a neat narrow seam every 2 to 3 metres.
Care for your item: the bias binding is machine washable at 40 degrees.
